Varied Falls

I heard it is already foliage season in Sapporo. However, foliage season would not start in Kyoto this month, according to a person who came from Kyoto. This year, I found red maple leaves in my family home's garden in new years day. New years day could be winter, resent new years day may be autumn.



I heard a news that snails habit range in south Kyushu-island are breeding rapidly in Honshu-island. Hmm, malaria would come to Japan.



Well,



It is autumn reading, these days I write about book I've read so far.



The book is written by Suzuki Daisetsu.



This is an introductory book of Zen buddhism. The author, D.T. Suzuki, is my teacher's teacher's teacher. I always recommend his book to non-Japanese people who want to study about Zen buddhism. His view is a bit old but I think his books is best among English Zen books.
