Entry for November 18, 2007

As I recall, I was invited to a Thinks-giving party when I was in L.A.. I played volleyball with an American man who was an English teacher in Osaka. His Japanese is fluent. If he was not in the party, I could not understand what the party is. :-) The party was held by a gainly and energetic old woman. She said something to me with smiling, but I couldn't understand most of what she said, even though I understood she gave a welcome to me.

I feel envious. American people have a lot of party in a year. If I live in America, please invite me!

"Thanks Giving Day" There was not much religious atmosphere. Perhaps, it is similar to Japan's Christmas. Originally, we needn't to keep Christmas. Every year, I wonder during Christmas season. I think many people wonder too. But we keep it just to enjoy. If we don't keep it, I couldn't get Radio control cars.

Today, I had to plot a graph. I need to a convert logarithmic graph to an equal difference graph. I had to buy graph papers. I saw the sky at department store in Tokorozawa. Today's sky was wonderful. Fall sky was shining. Rain cloud and sunset clouds were in the sky. It was a bit Aka-Fuji(Red-Mt. Fuji) like view. There were a lot of quadrates and oblong figures in my mind. The view make me to realize that I am a human. :-)

I intended to write a blog about Kiyosawa Manshi. Maybe he was the most greatest philosopher in modern age Japan. However, I didn't have the time. I searched the book on Amazon.com now. I found there is no English edition of this. If there is no English edition, western scholar must write its English edition. This book is a start point of religion-philosophy of modern-Japan age, also is my "ancestor" of my study. Nishida, Suzuki, Nakamura, they were student of him in essence. I'll write about it later.

It is a photo of a souvenir store in Kyoto.

Have a nice thanks giving day!
