MLB vs NPB

I asked questions about baseball on yahoo answer and I got interesting answers. It was very fun. I think I got a broader point of view. My questions were:



Matsuzaka can be a leading player in the Major league?



Ichiro is a great player in America too?



All Major league teams are stronger than Japanese teams?



I want to see official interleague games between each teams. For example Tigers vs Tigers. I guess they may be able to hold 3 or 6 games in a year. It takes for just a week or 10 days. Few as it is, we will be exciting. And I hope Yankees knocks Yomiuri Giants into smithereens.



Reading the answers, I thought some or many Americans might get wrong idea that all Japanese Major leaguers who shine with MLB are best players in Japan. Not all those players are best players. I think Ichiro and Matsui are best player but Iguchi and Jyojima especially Oka are not best player in Japan. I think Japanese players who have a vocation for MLB become a good MLB player. As for Jyojima, he was the best batter among catchers but he wasn't the best catcher. I think Tanishige, Dragons, who couldn't become a Major leaguer is the best.



I am reading results(2005) of Mariners players now. I think Hanshin Tigers may be upsides with or better team than Mariners. Their AVG is very low and ERA is very high. If Tigers fire Ichiro and heart of the order, it is not difficult to win.



I am impressed by some Major leaguers as to fielding and power. Especially their fielding are great. Unbelievable! I think I understand why Ichiro's AVG is lower than he was in Japan. And as for "Power", it is impenetrable difficulty. To win major league's strong teams, Japan need more power hitters.
