Day 3rd, Kyoto.

After I finished my business, I went to Kiyomizu-dera temple and Kodai-ji temple. There are lot of people including Japanese, Chinese, Americans, French and Koreans. I think 50% of the people is Japanese. 25% of those is Chinese. I astonished there are so many Chinse people there. I thought things are not what they used to be.

I realized that now Kiyomizu is not so much as a temple as a amusement theme park. Many people clouded and many, especially Chinese make a rumpus and wham-bam walk on the floor of hall. Foreigners take photos of main Buddha statues of main hall with flashes, and the temple improbably doesn't ban to do it. I can't understand, I think it is rude attitude to use a lot of flash to buddha statues because it is not just a statue, and I noticed Kiyomizu has become amusement theme park.

Then I went to Kodaiji-temple, it was light upped. The lighted one is not so good. I thought we shouldn't add crummy lights. I thought we should see those in the moon light. The factitious lights spoiled the beauty of Zen garden. The temple was also a amusement theme park. Maybe, if leaves were red, the garden far more beautiful than I see it today.

Kodaiji is temple of a woman, Nene who is wife of Toyotomi Hideyoshi. The temple is popular with women because Nene is one of best wife in Japanese history. Thanks to her support her husband became a chief adviser to the Emperor and dominated whole country. The atmospherics of the temple is feminal.

I took the photo at Kiyomizu-temple.
