Small talk on Jan 19th.

At first, I'd forgotten about that the fundamental law of education in Japan is already amended last month and I didn't mention about new one. I'm sorry. But the fundamental problem still has problem. I added footnote about it below of the blog. If you read it or commented about it, please read the footnote. My brain may be decreasing with age.



To some friends, thank you for the comment about movies you watched. I'll check the movies when I go to video rental.



As for me, I saw "letters from Iwo-jima" last month. I hared the movie may get Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. it is not improbable. The movie was really good movie, a memorial tombstone of friendly relations between Japan and the U.S.. On purpose, I don't mention about the story. Just I hope you see the movie when you can. I think Clint Eastwood accomplished a great achievement　as well as Flags of Our Fathers. More importantly, his view point was great.



By the way, Barack Obama is regarded as good politician in America?



I always think Americans are good speaker. Speech by Americans is very good and often humorous and moving. When Clinton visited Japan, I thought he was great leader. I still like him. He discussed with Japanese citizens. I listened and read Barack Obama's speech. It is not humorous and not moving but I became to want to cast a ballot for Obama. If I'm American I may do it for real.



The reason I am interested in the race is that it will affect Japan's politics. Japan also faces a similar problem, so called, Neo-con or conservative-left. Next Upper House election will be held this summer in Japan. Although I haven't consider which I am carefully, I think I am a person of conservative-left. My basis of thinking is Japanese philosophy, so it might be that I'm neither right wing or left wing though.



Although I always mention about America without much knowledge, I think Rev. King is the greatest American leader among leaders I know. What for he is great was that he think of race issue as problem for all people. Obama seems to never mention about the issue in the speech.



However, it is a human nature to doubt of candidates. He said "a decision no one should make on the basis of media hype or personal ambition alone - and so before I committed myself and my family to this race, ". The race implies race issue?



But, it was good speech. Japanese prime ministers should learn from Americans. Japanese politician's is often too abstract or often too intimate. I think one of the reason is mass media makes strange questions too much though.



Now, in many countries, democracy is controlled by emotion affected by News Media, especially TV media. In Japan, News programs are also really bad. For example, for audience appreciation rating, they broadcast murder at first. It become a hook to capture people's heart. As the result, people become to entirely think murders happen with frequency. And important information isn't regarded as important one.



In front of my TV, these days I often eat Zenzai with Mochi. According to my dictionary, Zenzai means red bean soup with pieces of rice cake. Mochi means rice cake. But I think it is strange to call Mochi as rice cake. Cake reminds me much sugar. I intend to see "Ucyuu-Senkan-Yamato", eating it tonight.



Ucyuu Senkan Yamato(Space Battleship Yamato) is one of master peace of Japanese anime. Gamiras empire (space alien) is attacking Earth. Gamiras's planet is under danger situation and they need a planet for their life. By radiation contamination, it is excepted that all people are died in a year. Earth don't have space fleet any more. Then a space alien help earth. She send a design of Pulsation Engine. By the tech, Yamato sinking at Okinawa reformed to Space Battle ship Yamato. Yamato fares forth on a journey to receive radioactivity　clearing equipment to save the world with it fighting Gamiras.



I think nowadays non-Japanese like recent Japanese anime, but, in Japan, generally speaking, it is said olden Anime was better than recent one. Some old ones were grandest, stories were so nice and Adults can enjoy with a view of adult. These years, Miyazaki Hayao's works are good eh?



As for these days other Japanese anime, I don't like its CG like picture and its moving.



I wanna see The Galaxy Express 999 again too.
