Last sunday, I saw a TV program that a journalist report about Iran. The information and opinion the journalist said is same as what I studied about Iran at university. The reporter said he could freely gather information in Iran. And Japan is the most advanced country in Iran-study among developed country because we are a third party, we should see Iran from view point of us, my teacher said.
It is obviously Iran is not axis of evil. If he wants to mention about women's issues, he should criticize Saudi Arabia at first. Iranian women have political suffrage but in Saudi, women don't have it.
If he wants to criticize Iran to undermine freedom of speech, he should criticize Singapore at first. Singaporean can't discuss politics in public while Iranian can do it.
If he wants to change Iran to totally democratic country, he should not involve in Iran. Some of them want human rights but activists don't want America to help them.
Iranian government don't censor news papers, precisely it can ban to publish. People have a strong political awareness, at least than Japanese, there are many politically aware women.
I've heard 80% of political journalists is women in Iran, while men have much interest in sports.
If he wants to criticize Iran about people who doesn't get a referral by supreme leader can't become candidate, he should criticize China, needles to say.
If he wants to criticize Iran about atomic power generation and wants to bomb, he should bomb Pakistan at first. Might be France too. Oh, might be, he should bomb his own country at first, this is common emotion in Japan, to be honest.
Feminist activist in western countries seems to often mixed up male chauvinism in west with Islam, expediently I use this word, "male chauvinism" in Islam. However, basic concepts are different from westerner's one. It is also can be understand as aegis policy for women. Even if it is a problem, they, including common women, should carefully deal with it. It seems to be sure that compensation money is half of men when woman is killed in a traffic accident. But I don't think it can be a reason of bombing. I guess China is worser as for compensation money. Some or many would automatically say Iranian policy about woman is wrong. I would say so if it was Japan. But I'm sure people start to consider from the basics of what is Islam. Without the considering, it can be just antipathy.
It is sure that there are women who don't want to blot out their face but it is sure that CNN like medias round up those women who are alternative. It is sure there are many women who want to blot out it out of their volition. I don't think this is just a matter of volition though. My teacher said "Don't believe what western Medias say about Islam. They skew without a thought.".
I don't want to become a muslim. It is totally different from I am. But even if Islam was wrong, I'm sure it is not matter what we should involved in. It is a cultural matter I can't deal with. We should not shake up Islam but we should consider how we can coexist.
It seems Bush thinks democracy and Islam conflict. But, it is a joke like opinion though, population of Muslim has been increasing while it is declining in developed country. If all hod a election. Muslim would win. Muslim is also a globalization.
Some one would criticize blending of religion and state. But rather it is not out of the way in history. I don't think blending of religion and state is good for Japan, but it seems Tibet was a blending country.
Culture is sensitive. From a point of view, I say culture is not selective actually. Rather there are cases that we shouldn't select it. Kids in Iran like Mickey Mouse. But it is sure majority in Iran don't want America to help them.
I don't think Iran is very good country as western country. But it is matter of course because it is not a western country. The reporter said the situation in Iran is much better than royalism age. It seems many regard Iran as fundamentalism, but Japanese researchers don't regard as so. It is regarded as reactionary-ism. Accurately, Fundamentalism is a term only for Christian faith.
As for nuke, this is complex matter but even if Iran is bad country, I don't think Bush should bomb them. Rather, it may be that Bush should change off Japan. I suppose Japan would sort out the problem. Rather this is a task of Japan, friendly nation of Iran, should do. Japan is not an object of hatred, rather I've heard Muslim propagandists who came to Japan was astonished saying Japanese are more Islamic. And some politicians intend to do this in Japan.
At last, again, Iran is not axis of evil. If Bush bomb Iran, Iraq again.
I took the photo at Tokorozawa city.
