If It Happens.

North Korea said Monday it has successfully conducted an underground nuclear test. Japan Meteorological Agency made observations of an earthquake whose earthquake center is northeast of North Korea. The wave form had different patterns from natural earth quakes. When I hard the news, I felt chills ran down my spine.



It is said that in the case of North Korea decide to attack Japan with nuclear bombs and they explode above Japan, Japanese metropolises will be ruined. I also may be killed. Economic functions will be collapsed and it will have serious consequences to all over the world.



It is said that in the case of that America and South Korea attack to North Korea without nuclear bombs, 50 thousand American soldiers, 490 thousand South Korean soldiers and over 1 million South Korean civilians will be killed to win and this forecast is the one of main reasons of diplomatic settlement policy, according to a Japanese military commentator.



As to Japan, we will revise our constitution and make it possible to attack enemy in North Korea. Now Our constitution bans any military action. Now JSDF (Japan self defense forces) is allowed to take military actions by an interpretation that even if our constitution ban it, Japan has a natural right to defense our self with weapons. However, the rights is restricted only to defense ourself and JSDF can't land on any countries as military incursion whatever happens. We must not join the allied countries and we can't fight though the war is also our war as of now. To amend the constitution called peace constitution, Japanese government has been preparing. I think the amendment will be accept by majority of Japanese. Such movement in Japan has been caused by North Korean actions.



As for my opinion, I don't think North Korea will not launch a nuclear attack unless there is a compelling reason and, the war won't happen anytime soon because of several reason I don't mention here and, resignedly, we neeed to amend the peace constitution before it is too late. As I recall, in the legal sense of the term, it is indefinite that wether JSDF can shoot down any missiles even if we know those are nuclear missiles and the target is Japan.



We might need Time Machine to resolve this crisis.
