暑中お見舞い申し上げます。

いよいよ夏本番です。日差しがだいぶ強く、暑くなってきましたが、みなさんは如何お過ごしでしょうか。先日の早朝、ウォーキングの途中で、ヒグラシの声を聞きました。ヒグラシの声は涼しげでいいですね。ネットでヒグラシの声を見つけました。夏バテに効果がありそうです。

Well, it is a Midsummer greetings in Japanese. The link I attached is a sound file of Higurashi. Higurashi is a kind of cicadas. I like to listen their voice very much. They sing in the morning and early-evening in summer and all the day in fall. Higurashi is a autumnal kigo too.



By the way, I hope Mr. Hammond in Chicago never invites me. You would understand why I said so. See this TV-report. "Oishii" they said means "Delicious".

Last weekend I took a video of Semishigure(蝉時雨,chirring of cicadas in chorus) and tried to uploead it into You-tube. But it didn't accept my file and I found I need to change something of the video.
