Professor Yamanaka, who receives the Novel Prize

Professor Yamanaka, who receives the Novel Prize for IPS Cell study, grew up in Higashi-Osaka city and Nara city. He graduated Osaka Kyoiku University's junior high school and high school in Tennouji ward and Kobe university and Osaka City University's Graduate school. He worked for Osaka City University, National Hospital of Osaka, Nara Institute of Science and Technology and University of California, San Francisco. Now he is a professor of Kyoto University.

Medicine is making a developmental leap by his break-though. It is said he may receive second Novel Prize by his study too. He replied "I try to get Nobel Prize for Literature.". haha. He was no good at surgery and gave up to be a orthopedist and decided to be a researcher. He was lucky because the heaven didn't gave him talent of surgery. :-D

Hanshin Tigers.

Nothing quenches the thirst in the hot summer months like beer. Drinking a beer in a stadium is the one of bestests. Now Tigers is in the first place. Marshal support from fans is the bestest in the world. I often lamented over their tameness until 2001. Tigers was floundering at that time. Almost every year, Tigers, the honorable team, were in the lowest place for more than 10 years. We never gave up them. We mustered ourselves. But Tigers got mired always. Tigers is a very unaccountable team. They have been enthralling many Osakans and Japanese.

What exacerbated Tigers is the popularity. Even if they lost, there are the good many fans in the stadium. The number never dwindled.

Hoshino Senichi, who was a field manager of Tigers and is a field manager of Japan's national team, called as 燃える男 (The glowing man), refurbished the team in 2002. His fighting spirits permeated into the team soon. He mesmerized fueled payers and got fans intoxicated. Tigers got the pennant in 2003. We turned back the place of us.

He was not a mere field manager. He elicited marshal support from up front, that was that other field players couldn't. He fueled even the degenerate up front. Nothing quenches the thirst like "win".

If you find the field manager, Hoshino Senichi, on TV, it is the hero of Osaka whom every Osakan respect.

Horosawa Katsumi sang Rokkou-Oroshi after a game.

Have a nice day.

About a teacher.

Today I bought a magazine of buddhist thought because I found one teacher I liked wrote for this month's issue. :-D This month's issue is "What mind is?". He explains on Buddha's pure mind. I can hear the good old voice from his article. He was the teacher of the teachers. He has a great narrative power. He always got me into his world. I want to attend to his class again if I can.

He was an interviewer of my entrance exams. I had a plan to take another university's exam though, I decided to enter the university because I became to like him. I talked openly about me at the test and he looked like had a good feeling toward me. I said "I was inspired in 6-school-philosophy too. " to him looked serious. He suspiciously said "Do you understand what they are explain? for example which ponint are you interested in?". I totally balled up and said "I'm sorry. I don't know much about it. 背伸びをしてしまいました。 (I've tried to say beyond my knowledge!)". I thought it was a big fault. But He suddenly smile from ear to ear and said "Haha! No problem! Trying to do beyond one's power is fine thing! Get going on it!". I said "But,,,,although I couldn't understand, I get interested in their way of thinking so much. For example whether cause includes result or not? I believe I need to study ways of thinking!". He said "Oh! Great!" Then the interview test had good ambience.

In his class, he taught me some very important things to study. "Attitude" was one of them. He said "Perspective to see things" and "Attitude to see things" are very different. People tends to mix up those two. I noticed one thing after the year. He often talked about religion philosophy along with my reports.

Well, I want to take a walk tonight. Have a nice week.
